Jamie Curtis, a native of Estill, South Carolina, began his trucking career after earning an Associate Degree in Machine Tooling from Midlands Technical College in 1998. He spent over two decades at Robert Elliott Trucking, Inc., where he rose through the ranks to manage daily operations for both the sawmill and flatbed divisions, overseeing a fleet of 35 to 50 trucks.

As safety director, Jamie built strong relationships with insurance providers, managed claims, and developed a reputation for prioritizing safety and operational efficiency. After the company was sold in 2019, he founded Heritage Transportation Risk Management to help insurers and carriers improve safety programs, risk management, accident investigation, and DOT compliance.
